OUR LESSON PROGRAM
  • We offer English, Hunter/Jumper, Western, and Equine Assisted Activity and Therapy for all ages of riders.
  • Though there is no "minimum" age, we recommend starting formal riding instruction at age 5 or 6, when a child's comprehension level, physical strength, and attention span begin to line up.  However, younger children can benefit from an introduction to horses at a very young age, so you're welcome to bring the younger child for an intro lesson as early as you wish.
  • Our beginning horseback riding lessons are a wonderful way for children and adults to find out if horsemanship is right for them and a sport they want to pursue.
  • We offer lessons every day of the week, any time of day, and can work around your busy schedule.
  • Lessons are private 1 hour sessions scheduled by appointment with one of our instructors. The mounted time is approximately 45 minutes. The remaining time is spent learning to groom, tack, and untack the horse.
  • Prices begin at $35/hour and vary with each instructor.
  • Payment for the lesson is due at the conclusion of the lesson.
  • Since your lesson reserves time with your instructor and the exclusive use of a school horse, we require at least a 24 hour cancellation notice if you cannot make the lesson. "No shows" may be charged $15.
  • Your safety and happiness are always the priority.
  • We have three different lesson horses that have lots of show experience and are safe to ride. Please "Meet our Horses" by clicking on this link.
  • All needed gear except boots, pants, and helmet (we do have extras just in case) are supplied.
  • Both our Release Agreement and that of the instructors' must be signed before riding at our facility. Please click on the Download Forms link for copies of the releases.
