John's riding career and love for the equine environment began early in life and continues to this day which found him back in the San Joaquin Valley where he began his horsemanship start after spending over 20 years on the Monterey coast.  

During his riding career and through four decades, John has trained many riders and horses that developed into Pacific Coast Champions within the Hunter/Jumper disciplines and Hunt Seat Equitation and has schooled under some of the finest renowned horse trainers on the West Coast. 

John brings his talent to Silver Glen Stables however limits his training to intermediate and advanced clientele who have their own mounts.
